A little more background info:
Heroclix is a grid-based tabletop game where you use small teams of your favorite super heroes (or Fellowship members, Star Trek ships, Street Fighters) to defeat your opponent. I like to call it "Real Life Final Fantasy Tactics", as the system employed by Heroclix is reminiscent of everyone's favorite strategy-based PlayStation game. The possibilities are endless: Doctor Strange can team up with the "Mad Titan" Thanos while Legolas provides support fire. There are thousands of figures, each with a unique set of abilities.
If you are looking for an intense, relatively cheap miniatures game, then head to your local game store and pick up a Fast Forces Starter Set today. There are several Heroclix players on this forum that you can use as resources in this easy-to-learn, difficult-to-master hero buffet!

Hello all: I am Drake Depew, the Judge (Head Judge now I guess) at Heroic Adventures. I urge anyone interested to stop by on Saturday afternoons between 1:00 and 5:00 P.M. I will be glad to demo Heroclix in any of it's various incarnations, barring an extremely busy day. Or come stop by on Wednesdays after 6:00 P.M. when Our other Judge - Kyle - can walk you through the game. We run tournaments at both those times, and we are also looking for a few more from the under 13 crowd to build a possible Junior league for Heroclix.
Stop by this Saturday after 10:00 AM and I will be there with other players from our group demoing the game as well as playing a 6000 pt game of my Ragnarok Army vs. another of our players Sentinel Army on my Custom Made 3-d terrain.
